HAM BIG MAC 7/8

Hi all.
I had a dv27 then dipole then thunderpole then gp27 then a sigma 4 then i had the big mac.
Yer the big mac was better. It was bigger and wider bigger ground planes and longer.
I had it on a 30ft telescopic mask. With a 200watt bremi burner.
Ham international Major360 rig. which i still have.
I think my mate still has a sigma 4. Ill ask him and let you all know.
I actualy swopped my sigma for the big mac. Straight swop.

In the 80's the big mac was classed as a full wave antenna. It was 30 foot long.
The sigma 4 was about 27ft.
30ft is a full wave on 27mhz. 10m band and 10meters long. That at 10m frequency wave.
Hope that clears things up on here lol

Hello All: I have heard of the Big Mac Antenna, it would be very interesting to see the assembly instructions and manual. Probably could duplicated using heaver Aluminum Tubing and even light Nylon (Parachute) guy wires to support its long length.
