Ham Radio Contests....opinions....

I like contesting feild day is alot of fun and I really enjoy it. the 10m meter contest we had recently was my first and i relly enjoyed it.
I don't mind contesters any more than I mind nets, and nets are the real leprosy of the spectrum. Just like that Kanuck nut on 14.275usb... they are squatters who think they have title to the property.
In regards to a previous poster, when was 15m ever considered WARC? I googled it and can't find a thing!
I do wish they'd get that computerized jibberish off of 30m, that band is narrow enough without impersonal crap like that. That isn't "radio" except in the broadest interpretation of the definition. Two computers talking to one another, yiipee :thumbdown:. Plenty of room of 20 and 40 for that kinda QRM.
I did listen to a bunch of Kanucks contesting LSB in our CW portion of 40m this weekend. Can anyone supply a link for spectrum privileges of our northern brethren?

Well I Do Contest & Very Frequently & there are the WARC Bands too Work When They are Going On , Crowding on the Bands is Common Place when there is a contest So , you can't have it You're Way a lot of HAMS! enjoy this Part of the HOBBY! & this is What it is A HOBBY! , People Get All Upset ! Insulted the Contesters Are Not All the Way that they are being Projected! , No 1 Ever Told Me Life Was Going Be Too Fair Or Easy & It Has Never Been For Me ! So if you Get Hurt Feeling Because Some one Was or is RUDE TOO YOU ! I Guess That is WHO ! THEY are!, Some People Have THIN SKIN & This is NOT A Hobby for THIN SKINNED PEOPLE Just My Opinion!

Don't know how many contests must be running today but they seem like they're everywhere. Super annoying. I'd rather listen to 2 CB'ers argue on the radio with their echos on than contest check ins every 3 sec.
When the contest's are running I just find something else to do. I enjoy rag chew and PSK. When it is contest weekend I spend time on the computer to see what else I can learn about HAM radio.
