Ham Radio Toolbar

Hey, that's pretty cool. I'm gonna check it out.

BTW, I saw that it has "ham RSS blog feeds". Don't forget, this forum now has an RSS feed you can subscribe to, for the whole forum or individual sections.

It has some nice features Roger. You can even tie your mail account to it and get "new mail" notices. I like the RSS feeds for Ham radio news and Blogs as well as the Zulu time always present for writing down logs and the WWV propagation notices. There is a little antenna that you click to get a menu for several Ham links also. Not to mention your local weather and forecast is displayed.

Roger, Tony's been on at around 9pm on 28.400 with Joe lately. Just listen in there and if they're on go ahead and break in. I usually listen in there while on the computer.

It appears to be made by the same people. If you look in the toolbar options they are laid out the same with very similar features. If you click the "about" button next to "haminfobar" it appears the one you mentioned is a newer version. It does have some extra good addons. I have both running to compare. Thanks !

Hi Guys

Thanks for checking out my toolbar. HamInfoBar has been running since last August, and is proving to be very popular worldwide. It's really useful for both hams and swls and is regularly updated. I value users feedback.

BTW this forum is now on HamInfoBar, but you'll have to download it to see it

Thanks John for joining the forum and I am pleased to let you know that the toolbar is a great addon. I like several of the features implemented. Thanks for adding us on the Haminfobar !

Thanks for the welcome Ron, and for your comments about HamInfoBar.

I developed it because of my interests in ham radio, shortwave listening, and computers as a tool to help source info easily for radio enthusiasts.
