Boy, there is a lot of good stuff here as I go through it.For you hardcore DXer's the Internet Ham Maps are cool ! Just click on the Entity and it gives a map and details about it. Seems like a neat tool to narrow down the location of a contact and some info about their QTH.

Thanks John for joining the forum and I am pleased to let you know that the toolbar is a great addon. I like several of the features implemented. Thanks for adding us on the Haminfobar !

Ron

My pleasure: This forum is varied and active and by adding it to HamInfoBar I'm sure it'll be a hit with our toolbar users.

As for the features - got a few more in the pipeline!

Again thanks for your supportive words about HamInfoBar.

John

Yes, John it is varied . It is sort of different as we are open to all forms of radio communications. Not just Ham or CB or GMRS or SWL etc. Many people have varied interests . I was reading your BIO and saw you fought for Free radio in the UK. That must have been interesting ! We have some members here from the UK. I am looking forward to the new features coming. I thought the new Mic pinout you recently added was nice !
Keep us updated ! :)

New feature added today:

The HamInfoBar Calendar - toolbar users can submit their radio related events such as contest dates, special event stations, etc - whether local, national or international for other users to see!

Yes Ron, the mid to late 60's radio scene in the UK underwent some exciting changes. Auntie BEEB had the monopoly for far too long. Although the fight for free radio may be long gone - broadcast radio in the UK nowadays evolved from it!

John

Did'nt work for me,,,probably was my I.P. But I did not care for the way ham tool bar forced you into answering questions when un-installing the program.

Hi Park,

Re: the uninstall question, I've never considered this to be intrusive. Think it quite reasonable for the makers to ask if there was there a fault with the d/l or whether you didn't like the programme etc. An Answer is voluntary and allows a total un-install whether you answer or not.

Sorry it didn't work for you - sometimes a re-install sorts the problem.

John

Park,
I installed both tool bars and didn't have a problem. I uninstalled the Ham Tool Bar when I downloaded the HamInfoBar and saw the questions. I do understand that a developer may ask if it was something you didn't like or maybe a problem encountered or a problem on their end. As John said it will still uninstall whether the questions are answered or not. Hope you can get it to work as there is a lot of cool stuff on there.

Yep reviews are good and the downloads great!

New feature recently added is the live message board.

Park, would like to know why the d/l didn't take. Feel free to email me to see if I can help.

John

I just redownloaded the haminfobar on my new computer and John has added a lot more since I last downloaded. This toolbar is a great tool for Radio operators from SW listeners to Amatuer or DX hounds . It contains a wealth of resources .
