Just received this handy dandy eye helper today. Figured It's a good mention to you fellow modifiers. It's inexpensive and it works incredibly well for those small surface mount components that are becoming more common. It has different lenses that swap out depends on the magnification you need and the Led's brighten up the work pretty well. They probably aren't for the every day tech but for us who dabble in it occasional they work pretty good.

For 12 bucks you can't beat em

Same thing I’ve had for a couple of years. I find myself using the middle one or next to the highest magnification. Next purchase is a digital microscope.
