Help hooking up a Equalizer.

And after discussing all these things - the kicker is if the radio on the other end has a good enough receiver for all of the work you did to make a difference :)

People spend hours of time and tons of money on this stuff but one of the best sounding stations I ever heard on AM on a regular basis was a guy in Hawaii with a radio with plate modulation and a d104. Helped that the guy was actually on the radio for his job (at a radio station)....he sounded so loud and clean it always made everyone on the bowl sound like trash.
 
Been using a compressor on the rx output jack, just to compare differences, definitely sounds better than a eq, makes audio more dense and better fuller sounding overall
