Hello Folks,

Can anyone identify this component marked in white circle? I'm not sure if it's a choke or a resistor and the darkening of the part from heat knocks me out of identifying value and ect...

Thanks all,
Gary B

Thank you, Do you have any idea the value it's supposed to be?
Now that the color bands are burnt off, there would be no way to tell without a schematic. It appears to be in a non-critical part of the circuit being used to simply remove RF, rather than in a tuned circuit where its value would be critical. A likely guess would be to start someplace around 10 Micro Henry's. By the way, that amplifier looks above average, having a three pole harmonic filter on the output.

Ya, I was hoping someone had a schematic. As far as being above average I have no clue. I don't typically mess with amps, and honestly, I have no clue to what a "three pole harmonic filter" is or looks like LOL. A friend of mine is looking at the amp and got it amplifying again but said that particular component was getting really hot and wanted to replace it... but he don't have a schematic either.

thanks for your time.
