well, thats most of the issue.
they have found what caused the "effect", but the "reason" is unclear. it seems to be the tuner/cable/operator, but, exactly WHY isn't known,.... yet.
I'm new to using an HF rig with a tuner too. Any little bit of knowledge I can gather might become useful sometime.
