PLL alignment for 208AA or 208AD = Uniden Grant XL & Grant LT with 11.3258 crystal

5. Adjust L59 by similar connection of (4) to obtain within 34.9865MHz +/-20Hz as will be indicated by frequency counter, then set Mode switch back to "AM".

6. Change moode switch to "AM" and adjust L23 to obtain within 34.985 +/-20Hz

7. Change Mode switch to LSB and adjust L22 to obtain within 34.9835MHz +/-20Hz as to be indicated by freq counter.

They have different alignment instructions which of the 2 is correct ??

The CB Tricks one should be correct.
The other one has too much offset.

Im having the exact same trouble with a grant xl i just recently aqquired and im gonna put allback to stock condition if i can
