Help with rv antenna

A vertical properly mounted and grounded to the aluminum sounds like a winner. A SS 102" would probably work quite well with that much groundplane directly under it.

Great mobile install info at: k0bg.com

I want to put a cb antenna on my rv, but the entire rv is aluminum. What does anyone suggest?
Almost all tubular metal antennas are built from aluminium tubing. So what's the problem?

The main issue is not whether the aluminium is good for a RF ground, it's about the physical strength of the bodywork to support a mount with an antenna on it.
