painfully slow but accurate ly typed from my phone

i emailed balundesigns and he said no on 10kw balun, so im still looking if anyone knows of any custom balun companies
thanks 33

Try building a coaxial balun. Two styles come to mind.
4:1 using a half wave line between the two outputs.
1:1 using a quarter wave sleeve. I've seen this type integrated into FM broadcast antennas rated at about 15kW.

There should be information in the ARRL radio handbook or their antenna handbook. Either would be capable of operating up to the rated power of the coaxial cable.

i called arraysolutions and he said they dont have any that can handle 10kw on am, but he could make me one for $900.00, seems a little steep. i think im gonna try making a choke out of rg218
