Well they got me again! I ordered a transducer for my fish finder, $143 dollars. it made it to FedEx in Fort Smith and then they lost it, don't have a clue what happened to it. Tried to file a claim but they say I can't, I'll have to file it with the company that I purchased it from. That makes no sense to me, they did their job FedEx is the one that dropped the ball. I figure I'll just be out $143 dollars.
Unfortunately it makes sense since it was that company that "bought" the service. Usps pulls the same crap. Fedx is very overpriced. I shipped my palomar 300a with the transformer from Florida to Texas for $65, 30 pounds plus.Well they got me again! Local FedEx Hub (25-30 miles from me) Is always in the news for loosing packages and having large number of customer complaints.

Congress was bribed to “allow” package service to be “competitive” back in the 1960s.
That’s the profitable work that underwrote the rest of USPS operations.
None of us are well-served.
It’s all more expensive.
Time to yank that plug.
The Post Office is the single federal agency authorized by the Constitution.
What it is, and what it could be, isn’t hard to imagine. Re-institute the Postal Savings Bank, as well.
Those floating-turd package companies can do whatever overseas work they can scrounge.
