Friend of mine ran those as duals, the coils vibrate or whistle going down the road. At least it was stereophonic. Drove him nuts. He mounted them as duals on his barndominium. They work great up there with all that sheet metal.

I have no issue with noise or anything so far. I did disassemble it and used dielectric grease at all connections before reassembling and installing and I changed the whip to a little bit thicker and stiffer one.
