Homemade CB antenna radials question

Alright here we go, (had to use the camera phone)

$15 bucks at my local hardware store, Gonna paint it in brown/green camo. each of the 4 braces are 5 foot long about, the first length of 1" verticle is 5 feet, next length of 3/4" is 2 feet and the last length of 1/2" is 2 foot also. The junction is just a 1 inch 4-way piece of PVC with a small piece of 1" to a T with the vert. aiming up (in which the mast inserts upwards into). At the top of the 1/2" is a end cap with hole drilled in it for the coax center to go through. This thing was handling 16 MPH winds easily today, also, the erm..."flag" sit perfect height on it.

Just tested her, Tower 1 (the antenna I built) transmitted very well and received even better. I was using a standard 4watt (out) Cobra CB as the Tower 1 CB. And a Uniden in the mobile (the thing is 20 years old and has rather shitty antenna on it, I couldn't find my 3 footer) but at 1-3 miles, it had perfect clarity, not a splash of static, 4+ I had bad static, when Mobile or Tower transmitter the radio would go a bit silent but wouldn't transmit voice power. Elevation changes by about 100 foot, is all hard wood and lots of bars and such around here, I am happily surprised about it.
