If it was all that bad then why didn't they go elsewhere instead. The company could still be in business and they would have a better job while leaving their old jobs for someone else. Now they NEED to look for another job while leaving nothing for anyone else in an economy where every job counts.

That's just not the way we do things down here. Typical union mentality, "If we can't have it, no one can have it".
Plus they would not qualify for as much government assistance as they will now.

If the guys in-charge at Hostess had a lick of since, they could start a new company, and sell the brands to them-self's, and start all over with No Unions!
Maybe hire back some of their original employs, heck they could even buy the bakery's Hostess already has, trucks, and all the left over supply's for penny's on the dollar....

I don't use tap a talk on my phone which I am on right now. I simply use the browser. It is nice and fast and allows me to see the forum the same as if I am on the laptop at home. Comes in handy for all those little admin buttons and things to deal with.

They dont need to do anything! They get 90 weeks of unemployment, with the right to ask for an extension! What a vacation.

You know what I meant by that. Their job is gone, Kaput. Non
-existent, and they WILL eventually NEED to find another job be it next week next month, next year. Individually they could have left earlier if it was so bad. thousands leave their jobs for better pastures all the time.
Me personally I would prefer to have a stable decent paying job than 90 weeks "vacation" with no prospects at the end.
