My wife has put up with all of my hobbies for over 30 years. She doesn't do radio, except for listening to the FM broadcast band, but she does get a kick out of some of the stuff she hears when we're out on road trips.

Just try to find a gal that accepts you for who you are and the rest will fall into place. Have you thought about taking some adult night school courses? ... computer classes, guitar or piano classes, etc. would be a good place to start.

Are there any singles nets anywhere, either on 2-meters or HF?

Just get on channel 19 and say you are looking for a lady and have a 50 dollar bill burning a hole in your pocket. They will find you!
Forget the Amateur Radio gals....if you break up with them you'll find your Kenwood and Ameritron thrown in the driveway.
