I have a 2950Dx along with many more 2950s. I talked in the cdx contest this month (today) with it just barefoot and it did great, im not sure how it sounded on the other end, but everyone said it was great.

Had one of the originals for a few days. Great radio, but I got the opportunity and traded it in for a Saturn Turbo (2990). I now use the Turbo for AM only and as a backup SSB rig. Most of the 2950's I hear have great audio.

I got mine today. I talked to CDX-4540 about 60 miles away and he said it sounded better than my other radios.
