How to link to a past post

I would like to send a link to a previous post to a member via a private message, and is there a way to have it go directly to the numbered post.
Say there were 3 pages of response and his was #20, could I have it post to that one, that way he wouldn't have to read thru all the other pages and posts.

Right-click on the post number you want to link too and select "Copy Link Location" and then paste that into the message like any other link.In the message box click the little icon that looks like the planet earth with a chain link at the bottom. Paste the copied URL into the box that pops up and that's all there is too it.Another way is to click on the post number in the thread. The page should automatically jump so that the post you clicked on is at the top. Copy the URL from your address bar in your browser and paste that into your message like you would add any other link.
