HR 2510 Display Problem

the other day i was using my radio lost the display. please help

look for a blue resonator near the main cpu, it says something like 4mhz on it,
i have known those to come adrift and lose the display.

do u know where one can be found.

if it is that resonator it most likely will just need resoldering, its a long shot but possible as i have seen it before.

tried no luck. would like to try a new one if they can be found

no display..

Does the radio still transmit?

If so, check the 3 capacitors on the display PCB. One of those could (usually) short out and the display will goe blank.

Also check the voltage regulators on the Microprocessor board.
One is 5v one is 8v. the output pin is right most pin.
