Youre doing it wrong... lol I am vertical on an android right now. Works dreamy. I'm driving so I can't look at my settings right now but it must be in your settings somewhere.
the next time you log in here, check the box that says keep me signed in. If it still signs you out after closing the browser,that's going to be your phone settings again.

for those still struggling with the quote function, the quote button in the reply window is used only for multi quotes. To quote a single message, all you have to do is use the REPLY button on that message and it will automatically quote for you.

The new software is far slower for me, and much more confusing to navigate.

This is amazing since all the other older sites I visit are much faster by comparison, plus moving about and doing stuff is far more simple.

On the same token...I don't understand any of the new portable devices, and I figure that is the direction the Internet is all going in for the future.

I want to continue to be active here, but I am amazed at the total differences, and I hate the way this site looks and works now. It is no fun anymore.

I feel your pain. The Home Depot near us plays stuff over the intercom in Spanish. Then you think "weird, it's usually english first..." You wait... Nothing. I guess you have to speek spanish to hear whats on sale. Love it here...

Ramping up the font sizes on the main forum page was a BIG help. Now much easier to read. If you could do the same to the DX CHAT on the right top of the main page, that would help too. Thanks and 73s.

I simply reposted the image you did. IIRC when you post you have the option of posting just a thumbnail which shows the info or posting the full sized image. if you select full size you get what I posted above.

I actually like the desktop environment. I have a little hot rod laptop that runs the site nicely. My mobile experience is not cool though. It still lags and is choppy. Something is hogging memory. I ain't blaming this site, as I have a bunch of crap on my phone, but, it's not a pleasurable experience as it once was.

I find my Blackberry don't like it, either crashes browser or takes ages to load, hit post reply and it quotes, couldn't get quote to work.

Worst of all my Lion Rampant avatar has stopped fluttering, hope that's not a sign of things to come on Sept 18th when my country goes to the polls to rip the UK apart and become the Independent NATION again, that sent them homewards tae think again

Looks ok on netbook, hopefully will be better on new Nokia than it is on this Blackberry, The old site loaded in seconds on the Blackberry, this one crashes more often than it loads, browser incompatibility or lack of RAM in BB, I don't know, but it is slow as fuck. I'll probably try Nokia tomorrow see if that makes things any faster.

Like all good things will take time to perfect and get used too.

Curlyjo, your image worked fine on this end, but when I clicked on it the image was much larger than my screen. When I clicked on my back key...the system through me out of the thread back to the index, not where I thought I would end up. This has happened with other functions...when I just wanted to back up to the previous page.

Also, as I am typing this post the type is moving slower than the key strokes, and the screen jiggles at times. Maybe it is my lack of memeory (or a memory hog)...like somebody else suggested.
