I passed my Tech test

w9cll - why not just go for it? The best DX, at least on 20M where I spend most of my radio time, is down at the lower end of the band below 14.225 in the Advanced/Extra area. OK, maybe you're not into DX. That's fine.

I have listened down there and I am into DX but I don't know, the jump from Tech to General was huge but from General to Extra no so much. I am sure I will sometime just not interested now.

That's fine, no problem. The great thing about ham radio is that there is something for everybody. DX happens to be my thing and I got my Extra just for the additional band privileges.

Thanks and I am already studying for the General which is next month, I'm not sure if I'm going for the Extra, we'll see..I just don't know why I waited so long.
