I thought about it, but...

“Them boys in Yazoo City, MS sure know their stuff. Named it after their hometown.

.
I nearly froze to death in Yazoo City, MS.
We were drilling there and a freak winter storm descended deeply South. There was lots of snow, and even more ice. The temps plunged to -11°F with -33°F wind chill. Our rigs weren't equipped for it, nor were we. Had so many layers on we couldn't bend properly. Took us months to get all the diesel smut off the rig.

While working in Louisiana years ago I was in a verbal degrading between our crew and another. We argued who were the best, who were a pack of worms, etc. When the other guys learned my little brother and I were from Texas they thought it too good to be true. We were not big. In fact, all the others were bigger than the two of us. They derided us saying they'd heard everything was bigger in Texas, so what had happened to us. I was stumped, but my little brother, who was shorter than me, didn't miss a beat saying, "We are Texas midgets. How big are your midgets?"

Them Yanks go home when they see condom diameter-size making a white ring on the back pockets of our blue jeans.

Even the midgets ain’t midgets.

Next time, tell ‘em when the horses tire during round-up your cousins continue the cow chase by using a fireman’s carry till them horses feel rested.

My best friend was a tool dresser on a cable rig for 10 years. He could swing a sledge like He-Man. I've seen him win many barroom arm wrestling challenges. I worked part-time hauling and rolling pipe. I worked with some big crazy dudes. Witnessed a few spectacular bar fights.

Yup. NFL lineman got cousins. Beware.

Worst are the 6’4” 220-lb former linebackers who can do a standing back flip. And not spill their beer.

There’s just some things shouldn’t be possible.

Most of the worst offenders are the old guard, hold extra class ticket, always let you know they been a ham for 40years.
yes n constantly remind you they had to know code.
But as the field of operators shrink they need to hush that up n try to encourage more operators

Don't let the internet give you a bad impression. It's where people with chips on their shoulders and piss weak signals go to whine. Get on the air, find some like minded people and have fun.
