ICOM 7300 adj freq bleed (normal?)

The chain is audio to RF, be it simple radio internals or a complex external set up, push each of those just a little hard and you will regret the sound of your audio and make yourself unpopular. Compression can chop speech up into a very irregular rhythm and make it hard to understand what is being said. I had a S9 signal the other day and I could barely hear a word the operator said it was so compressed, maybe that sounds less messed up 10,000 miles away.

It is an interdependent chain of events and if everyone backed off a bit wow how much nicer it would be.

As far as moving on, I understand it now.....we don't have much a choice... or you do your best as I did and managed it try and filter the crap out in your own ears through focus.
