I read ALL the reviews on eham, and it looked to me like the early models had some stability problems and that they have been dealt with and remedied.

Looks like the hi-stab osc. option might be a good idea. Or at least after the warranty is up.

Well, I found a rig that was less than one year old, has the DSP installed, TCXO (high stability frequecy oscilator, are HAPPY HAMER <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> ) fro $850. According to the UPS site the big brown truck will bring it to me on Monday. I will definitly post how this rig performs.
