Thats true and you cant ever really take back whats already been said no matter how old it is or how long ago you said it. We have all heard the phrase "Think before you speak"
Having had no shortage of run ins with moderators on many forums including this one, i can say with my hand on my heart that the moderation team here are very easy to deal with, will accept if they get something wrong and generally do their best to make amends, they also tend to have a fair to excellent grasp of the subject matter.
i can't say i've found that on any other cb forum where most moderators are egotistical asswipes that know precious little about the subject matter they moderate on and will ban anyone who disagrees with their views or that of their sponsors no matter how much shite they've spewed.
they rarely moderate on swear words realising the technical side of radio is an emotive mostly adult subject and sometimes non swear adjectives just don't cut it.
WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?
not forgetting that some of the technical reading here is among the best of all radio forums on the net as there is some real smart cookies on here. i personally rarely learn on most other forums, here i do learn.
I have taken a look at many forums here and there that covers CB or ham radio and I have yet to find one that is as good as this one is....The mods/admins here do a great job when needed without squelching the members into thinking "their way"
I personally would like to thank the mods/admins for a great site !!
Although I have been absent for many years from the forum, it is readily apparent that this forum is moderated very well. It can be a fine balancing act where the mods come across as cyber-nazi's or pretty much anything goes.
Either way really sucks.
It really all comes down to people treating each other with respect, and treating others how you would want to be treated.
Lurking around the site, the amount of information both archived and current is pretty phenomenal...I took a several year sabbatical while I pursued my other hobby...I have forgotten so much.
