If you had to pick a 40 SSB CB BASE purely on asthetics what would you choose?

I bought one at a yard sale with the speaker. Unfortunately it doesn't work. It is a beaut.

The radio or the speaker? Either is unfortunate. One more than the other.

Fantastic Thread ! Love looking at these beautiful old radios ! I joined wwdx today partly so I could see these pictures in full size.
Many years ago I had a Courier 40D base with wooden bookends and a black and chrome front. I tricked it out with every goody you can think of, including full coverage from 26.085 all the way up to 10 meters. Sadly, it perished in a house fire long ago.....
My Kenwood TS-140S outperforms it, but for aesthetic value I'll go with the beautiful old Courier!

I cant remember, does the clock double duty as a frequency counter? It doesn't matter I suppose as it's gorgeous.

Just bought this on ebay for 163 bucks BIN. No idea if I've done well but looked fairly mint. I *THINK* it's a TRC-457 but can't quite zoom enough for sure.
Hope it's not a gutted case lol.
