If you were a pirate broadcaster, what's playing right now?

Ok i just have to call you classic rockers out on this one.

NO self respecting pirate radio station would play ANY song that gets played in constant rotation on the classic rock radio stations.
this is SACRILEGE on pirate radio.

Shart Dressed Man? (no typos here)
you have to be kidding me.
I'm 20 years younger than a lot of you guys and i have heard this song 10 times as much as i ever wanted to.
don't get me wrong, great band, bad ass playing, great stage presence, and amazing ability to play around with a song, but this is pirate radio, not FM corporate radio.

IMO pirate radio is for deep cuts, and B sides, as well as stuff so obscure/ offensive that they would never let it on the official airwaves.

Im talking about stuff like "Broken hearts are for A$$holes" by Dr. Zappa, or "July Morning" by Uriah Heep, and stuff like that.

just sayin'

That means I win. I said Luther Campbell and no radio station at all plays Uncle Luke, not anymore. So I’ll also add “The Jay Hickman Comedy Hour” and “The Truckers Corner” where I’ll play Elmer Fuddpucker during driver call-in.

I win. That some stuff right there that nobody would play, probably nobody would listen to either. But I did mention Culture Club first...

no, i'm afraid you didn't win.

nobody beats Blowfly when it comes to music you are not allowed to play ANYWHERE!
(maybe by yourself but be careful LOL)

I can't even link to one of his songs without breaking forum rules!!!
I'm not saying it's great music, just, well, go to youtube and check it out for yourself.
i'll wait.

All I know is " Thanks Ralph " as you started with the ZZ Top ! My wife came back from doing Barn Chores , I was playing that song & she said " We haven't seen them in years " ! Now I'm on the hunt to see when they perform again near us . We missed them last time , they played @ a Casino near us a few years back .

I saw them at Oak Mountain Amphitheater (near Birmingham, AL) about 15-16 years ago along with Ted Nugent, Government Mule and several others. ZZ Top were the last ones to play, and they actually played a couple sets of their early stuff and straight-up blues before wrapping up with a set of their popular stuff from the '80s and later.
I was really pleased with that, as it gave us a head start on beating the crowds out of there. We started making our way out as soon as they started that last set.

Years back wife & I went to see Chuck Berry locally , I was @ the concession stand & purchased 2 beers & a large Pop Corn . I turned quickly to get back to my seat & a Tall Black Man bumped into me & spilled my items . He told me I'm sorry & told the guy @ booth replace those & put them on my tab . I got back to my seat & told my wife if Chuck Berry comes out in a Tan Suit , he just bought your Beer . Yup it was him !:)

I was thinking that was the last concert I ever went to, but then I remembered going to see Government Mule at some old factory on the east side of Atlanta a couple years later.
That was an interesting concert too. When I had seen Government Mule before, it was just straight up GM. But the Georgia concert was more jam band style, with the lineup changing from set to set. I remember one of the guys from Phish was there and joined them for a couple of sets.

Reminds me of another concert years earlier, where I saw Traffic at a now-defunct outdoor venue (all three of these concerts were outdoors btw) southeast of Nashville. Jerry Garcia joined them for a set at that one.
