I was 6 years old, and the first star wars movie just came out. My friends went to go see it, but my mom wouldn't let me go. I truly believe I was born in the wrong decade.
I do have to say that I feel fortunate to grow up in the late 60's and 70's. What a great decade!! And star wars!! On man, I remember the L O N G lines and was blown away the first time I went to see it.

YES! Uncle Ted! Ted had a camp about 40 miles from my house up here in the U.P. and we used to see him in town quite often. Super nice guy, cordial, but tells it like it is!
One of the few movies my dad took the family to. After he saw it by himself, of course.
