Attention CBER's or Hams:
If you need some help check in and let us know where you are and if you need help getting your station back on the air. You might have a member near by that might help you get back up. Some might have some parts you need or willing to come over and help you erect your antenna. Just let us know what you need and where you are. People helping each other is what groups are about.

dont need of help but been checking in on others and so far everything is aok,,,some antennas down with others,, my farm only lost the 6 meter halo and 2 meter verticle beams reflector element,,, 100 plus winds for almost 3 hours here,, eye was just 10 miles to east of me ,,,,many power outages,,,and trees damaged,,,some homes roofs damaged and some flooding in areas,, now yesterday and today flooding on the rivers is happening,,, gas shortages still a problem and bread and milk goes off shelf fast,, we will endure,,,, irma,,, a one night stand i wont forget,,,,

Has anyone heard from forum member 222DBFL?

He used to post here reguarly and was always the gentleman. Haven't seen him here in quite some time.

Just curious.

Still no power in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. but there was little to no flooding

I don't think it will take 28 days to restore power like it did after CHARLEY.

Lots of neighborhood BBQ's going on, people are cooking the last of the unfrozen meat, you just follow your nose and go from house to house and say Hi.

I can't believe the staff of a local nursing home allowed people to die because the AC was out, someone needs to go to prison.

I use to have his telephone number but the Verizon store did a factory reset and lost all of my contacts. He has been off of the site since the middle of July.
I found his number and after about 5 or 6 rings it went to Voice Mail and left a message to call me back.

I just talked to 222DBFL and all is well. No destruction just some debris in the yard but nothing major.
