You are on the Third rock from the sun..
The Star is 7/8's the way out on one of the spirals ( the Orion arm about 26,000 light yrs from the center of the milkyay galaxy) in the spiral Galaxy known as the MilkyWay Galaxy
( No Not named after the candy bar )
Just round the corner from the Andromeda Galaxy ( another spiral galaxy a bit larger then the milkyway galxy )
look for the dwarf galaxy sagittarios on the outskirts of the galaxy currently being devoured by the milkyway.

I remember an old graphic that probably came from the days of the early astronomers.
Our sun was named Sol, hence Solar System.
The Earth was Terra, hence we are Terrestrials.
Funny, I once gave my address as living in the Solar System, Arm of Orion, Milky Way Galaxy.
