Anytime somebody has to throw off the focus of a discussion to a name calling event you know they feel defeated.
While we are calling people names I can say the scariest source of disinformation I've ever seen comes from people masquerading as broadcast engineers. BTW that's not directed at anyone here.
There really isn't much difference between hams and cbers anymore so why bother to bring it up.
No it remained vertical.mack you lifted your antenna off the mast and layed it on the roof correct? you changed the polarization of the antenna. the closer to horizontal you get the more noise reduction you will see. this is expecially true of man made noise's. it had nothing to do with ungrounding the antenna from the mast.
Yo Mack. Did you build the knife switch thing yet so we can put this to bed? Maybe I missed it if you posted elsewhere.
teh tnx.
i,ve read your sapposed to do this with omni antennas..if this is so hows come it dont tell you to do it in the instructions ?
No I haven't as winter is still in full force in Colorado and the window of opportunity is very narrow then work grabs those openings.
