Had a dual band Cushcraft yagi listed on local Facebook BST groups. Old dude called and said he wanted it . Gave him directions and he just showed up 6 hours later. I should have known the deal was gonna South when I saw his wife in the drivers seat. Walk up to the car and she says she's not hauling "THAT". Drove a big new Lexus SUV. I could have squeezed 5 of them in there. He didn't even say anything to her. Said he was 77, she looked like early 50's.

Fool wasted my time. I thought about giving her a piece of my mind, but walked away and thanked my lucky stars my wife isn't that way. Earlier, he said he was gonna be at the hamfest next month. Lol, if he shows up to buy it then, his price just went up $25.

At least she could've apologized for wasting my time.

Yessir! I wouldn't be obligated to donate to the (very) local "non-profit organization" after all the bills are paid.... :ROFLMAO:

I feel bad for that guy trying to buy the antenna, though. :(

~Cheers~

I don't. He must like it. Neither me nor my wife would put up with the other if either of us were like that.

Yeah, I don't feel for him in the slightest. At least he's taken her out of circulation from the rest of the crowd. He says he goes to the Shriner's Hamfest every year, as do I. I'm taking 4 tables and a new canopy. I have a bunch of newer rigs, antennas, meters and other accessories. I'm certain he'll stop by. Told my wife to make his wife a new testicle pouch for her to carry his gnads around. Lol

I am going to say something to him. The sad part, he was licensed in 1961. He should've knew what the hell he was buying and realized it wouldn't fit in her precious little car. He said: "I didn't know it was that big. I had the boom separated. He just couldn't think for himself with her laser eyes looking at him.
