I just wanted to thank you very much for taking the time to give me the information on your low dead carrier / swing mod for my Uniden PC68XL. Bill Good was the genius who made a reputation for FG Best before he died, as I remember it. A look at their web site from 2004 (I think) on the Wayback Machine reveals technical advice signed by Justin Depolis. Don't know, might be another guy with the same name. The URL in the first post above has been in the hands of a domain aggregator since FGB closed down, but their old site (partly) lives on in the Wayback Machine. Pretty sure you'll have to go back at least to 2004 or 2005 to find any actual site pages.

Seems to me J. DeP's downhill spiral began when he struck out on his own ten or twelve years ago. Fortunately, I never got involved in any of it.

Curious, but his ham callsign expires next year.

That would be a downright lie there, Ms. Former Boss Lady, Gayle Good. I seem to still have a CD just full of photos of all of us together in the back of the shop there. Most date and time stamped. Funny, when someone's life is going well, you claim affiliation, when things take a dive for a few years you turn your backs. You were always a user, I cleaned my act up, looks like youre up to the same shannanigans.
