K-40????

I have a new in the box K-40
The unusual thing about it, were the whip goes in, the base and the K-40 logo is gold. The rest is black.
I know the 20th anniversary is white with gold in the same spots.
Anyone know anything about this?

I have seen a black one with the gold logo before. It had the words "Anniversary Edition" on it, also in gold. I just always assumed they were released the same year as the white ones, but don't know for sure.
