Just an update since back in November.
Since that post I also operated in the ARRL 160m 'test in December. I worked my first DX outside of W/VE during the 'test. While much of that is likely due to my improved doublet I think the K3 added to the success.
After that I'd not done much more than casual operating until this past weekend's Kansas QSO party. I did well enough, far from a class winning score, though. The K3 worked splendidly in CW, SSB and PSK31 modes. No issues and no complaints thus far.
At the recent Kansas ARRL Convention Jim, W0EB and a couple of others had an Elecraft booth setup with two of them showing off their K3/P3 combinations. Jim reported that even though both were using portable antennas, both were able to operate without undue interference to each other. The P3 is such a sweet looking unit that I think one will have to find its way here this coming fall before the winter operating season.
