Reminds me of being a kid at the CB shops in the 70's.

i dont trust anyone on craigslist. on eBay for that matter. last thing i bought on eBay was junk. never again. if i want something i buy new

I have had decent luck on both.. Most of my stuff comes off of Ebay and some from people on Craigslist. In fact, i bought a MINT IN BOX lafayette 1140 base from a guy on Craigslist and i also bought a mint Gemtronics GTX 5000 40 ch tube base.. So i guess your luck just sucks, bruh. Also, a lot of people cannot afford new stuff such as I due to living on disability on a fixed income.......

There use to be a Larry's CB Shop in Mesquite back about 10-15 years ago. First he was off Highway 80 near Big Town shopping mall, then moved over off Town East...Got to where he was doing more car stereo stuff than CB tho...Not sure if it's the same Larry or not, if you go by there ask him if he use to be located in Mesquite..."IF" it's the same Larry, he's a pretty good tech.

There used to be a place called CB City in Tyler Texas that was similar. I bought a couple used scb Hustler antennas from them for $30 for both.
