PayPal Goods & Services protects the buyer, while PayPal Friends & Family doesn't. but now, anything over $600 in a tax year (accumulative totals), gets reported to the IRS and you'll be sent a 1099 - only via Good & Services (not F&F). But if you buy something via F&F and something goes wrong (wrong item, broke item, no item) you're more-or-less screwed. Because of this, you'll find a lot of reluctance...So this thread is about ebay fees, but what about paypal.
I use PayPal often and have paid members here for gear that way on several occasions. Last purchase I did here was a radio from a known forum member but he wasn't keen on PayPal. Instead I mailed a check at the same time he sent the radio and all worked out. Is there a reason some are reluctant to use PayPal?
