Latest idea. Indoor 33" tall antenna for hf

33 inces tall. 8 wide at base. Coil switched. Covers 10 to 80 meters. See pics. I recorded swr but didnt record for X, it was not bad. It's a prototype. Indoors sitting next to me under a metal roof it has decent ears, all things considered.

The reactance voltage on that will be VERY high. I once burned up a tuner, literally smoked it, with a 48 inch antenna on 160m.

When I first glanced at the thread title I thought it said 33' indoor antenna and thought to myself, "This, I gotta see!" Opened it and realized it was inches.

Not sure I'd sit next to it. Any contacts yet?

I did the same thing. I just chock it up to old eyes........

I've not used it yet. Snow, mud, work.....I'm gonna just ain't. Itll be bad if it burns! Cardboard coffee can. #16thhn. 3 seperate coils. 6 tails. 4 switches. I didnt count wraps. Figured if it worked.id take it apart
