Base Longest Coax Length Possible?

What about when you change bands?

That amp doesn't have a band switch. As I mentioned before you can make reference points for the plate and load settings for quick frequency changes.

I do the same thing with the ameritron amps on my desk. I keep notes of plate and load settings for each band. Operating a multi band amp remotely is possible but not worth the trouble.

I agree with that. I have worked on automated systems and didn't/wouldn't bother with my amp, which I do not use. After I finish my radio room I might use it then.

I would move the antenna closer to your shack as a first choice. The other choice, if you can afford it, is to run hardline, but it is pretty expensive.

I have decided to put up a new antenna on the back corner of the house. I just can't justify spending over $400 on coax to hook it to a $78 antenna. I will start a new thread with the antenna install. Thanks everyone for your help.
