Looking for a good 4o meter vertical

does someone make a vertical antenna.
been looking at zerofive antennas i already have a Collosal 5kw

from what tests i have done comapred to what another guys setup is
i would prefer the 40 meter monoband
and then get a 15 meter monoband,, i rather not rely on 2nd harmonic from 40 meter to talk on a 40 meter dipole

i have plenty of room for an antenna farm

How about a 20 foot stick of 'drill-stem', 10 feet or chain-link fence top rail and a whip you've probably got laying around? Few hose clamps or tack-weld it. Spool of electric fence wire for radials. Maybe a 150 feet of some kind of plastic rope to guy iy if your in N. Texas. Paint the @#$ thing pink, naturally.

Or, you got a 30 - 50 foot tower? Feed it.

Old thread, I know.

I have a friend who has a ZeroFive 10-40 meter ground plane on a 10' piece of pipe buried 3' in the ground and talks all over the world with it. Texas thunderstorms bend the tall vertical element every which way but loose and it always straightens right back up. (y)

Really old thread but I can not figure out why someone would buy a antenna you can make one so cheaply and easily. Now if they are disabled or otherwise unable I understand that.
If I were to build one. By time I get the materials, it would be cheaper to buy premade. We have a regionally high (way over inflated) prices. (n)
