50 years ago today Apollo 11 was on its way to the moon. Do you think maybe the guys set their radio to LSB 16 and shot some skip for a while? Imagine cruising along at 25,000 miles an hour with a 102" hanging off the back of your command module. No wind. No gravity. No atmospheric distortion. A little Doppler effect for good measure.
