maco 200 has 2 (450WV - 120MFD) capacitors.rfparts has (100mFD and 160MFD,450WV)will any of these replace the ones in the maco.

reason for replacing them is because it hasn't been used for about 15 years and when it is keyed and turn the tune it blows the fuse, with or without the tubes in it.i tested the rectifiers and they test good so it must be the capacitors, but ill replace the rectifiers to.thank you.

You should probably take a look at Mouser.com Digikey.com for them, probably save a bit of money, there are other places as well, I usually use one of these though...

Using two 120uF capacitors connected in series will generate approximately 60 uF with a 900 WV capacity - your OEM set-up. Using two 100 uF capacitors is approximately 50 uF so you will only have 83% effective capacitance which will reduce the DC bus voltage. Using two 160 uF capacitors will give you 80 uF of effective capacitance, which is a 33% increase in capacitance, and will increase the DC bus voltage. I'm guessing you should be OK with the 160 uF parts.

Is there a resistor bank in parallel with the capacitors to balance the voltage across them? If not, you should add them to help with reliability and performance.

no resisters on capacitors, this maco has low and hi.it has a wire between the capacitors, the other wire uses both capacitors.both wires go to low/hi switch.
