Same thing I have wondered. Have they fixed the QC issues? Also not sure I could stomach spending $400 for only a 150 watt radio.

I keep hoping someone has $400 burning a hole in their pocket to drop on this radio, so maybe we could get a review... If I buy another radio right now, I'll have to find a way to pack all of my belongings in the box it came in, 'cause that's where I'll be living when the old lady finds out.

In the 10 Meter market I believe Stryker is the only really company right now that is gaining customers. They have seemed to of killed Magnum. Ranger same old stuff. Connex new models leave alot to be desired. Some of the other names from overseas has shown some potential for the ssb crowd but cost and availibility have hurt them.

Stryker is gaining customers that are giggly over shiny lights and toys. Stryker radios are nothing to get excited over and are pretty much junk and no better than the other crap offerings out there.

Just my own real world comparison against similar export offerings. The 955, I HAD, was horrible. Noisy receive, poor rejection and crappy NB. Radio performed poorly in a mobile environment. The rejection and NB performance were deal breakers for me.
