Stop wasting your money and the lastest and greatest thing and stick with what works. Go out and get a Galaxy 95T (for am) or a Ranger 2970 (for SSB) You cant beat em!

Magnum s-9

I have a ranger 2970dx, like it & it works great. I also use an HR 2510, and several others.
I still find myself using my s-9 most of the time, as it does everything I need it to. And actually very well!!! On AM it rules, I've never heard a better AM radio!!
On SSB it is more than some, and seems to be heard just as well as any.
Maybe I've been lucky, but I like all my radios. I just prefer the Magnums for most things. I've never had anyone say I can't hear you. And usually, I hear them first.
