That would be a nail biter

Easy mod, would take me longer to get inside the thing. My 775-DSP was worse than that because the thing you had to remove was on the CPU on the inside front of radio, so you had to partially remove the face....
 
That's just crazy . . . priced themselves out of the market at that rate . . . won't see one of those at a flea market or hamfest any time soon . . .

Never say never. Hell I saw a 7800 used at HRO a few weeks ago, didn't last long... and those were 10k not all that long ago.

Expensive? yes... worth it? Depends on the guy buying it. Even a 7851 is not more expensive than an entry level, used weekend car or something.
