I am offering for sale one of my Malcomized YAESU FT-102 HF Transceiver done by MAL Eliselman NC4l. Along with a MH-1B8 Yaesu stock microphone. The radio covers 160-10 Meter bands. AM/FM/CW/SSB.Full set of filters. Has three 6146B output tubes for 100 watts of output power. Radio contains the hard to find AM & FM board. Has a very nice preamp to help with pulling out those hard to hear stations. I have got nothing but great audio reports telling me that I have studio quality audio. The transceiver is in good working order. Does have a few small scratches. All the controls meters and lights work as they should. Also comes with the manual and report from Mal Eliselman. That shows all the update mods along with other work that he had done. I have all the paperwork and receipts to the transceiver since it was bought new that will come with the transceiver. 1. Yaesu service post card. 2. Repair receipt. 3. Shipping receipt for repair being sent to yaesu. 4. Receipt for ft-102 purchase 84". 5. Warranty registration card. 6. am/fm receipt 7. Just curious if you ever sold the rig?

To clarify the situation,

This is the first time I've been on since the end of November.

First off, I've sold him numerous items within the last year and even was nice enough to wait for him to send cash via mail. He has never had any complaints about my items until now. I HAVE NEVER SOLD ANYTHING THAT DID NOT WORK TO ANY ONE EVER.

My listing which you can see above, I did mention it was working order but also sold as is. Yes, I did not mention that the volume control was loose, but it did not effect the sound or turning it on or off so I forgot to mention it and didn't see it as a big deal.

Also, I did research before I posted it for sale about the freq. counter being slow to catch up with the channel selector when being changed and found out from the forum that it comes from the factory like that. It does catch up within two to three seconds. Therefore, I didn't mention that because it was a normal thing and came like that.

If the buyer had researched also, he would have read the same information and made a more sound decision when buying.

Before it left here, it worked fine in transmit and receive. I got numerous radio checks. As far as receive goes, there was no noise and it was quiet. The radio was in working order when it left.

After he received it, that is when he made complaints about these things being wrong. I told him to try cleaning the channel selector but apparently that was too much work and he responded with "You can not clean the channel selector unless is taken apart and is a pain, just more easy to replaced than trying to fix it". He then proceeded with giving me a price list on the replacement parts (volume control and rotary switch with complete board) that he thought it needed even though it was sold as is.

I told him in my email that I didn't think that I should have to pay for the parts because he felt like it was an issue but being the honest person that I am, I did agree to pay for the parts $40 when my tax advance came in but there was a delay in getting them until December (which was a little later than what I initially told him).

In between this time, during the first week of December, I was electrocuted by my Henry 2KD5 amplifier, which left me with two holes and third degree burns and put me in the hospital for a few weeks. I just recently got out and am now just reading this. Sorry if that isn't as important as the $40 that you desperately need.

If you do not believe the above, I'll be more than happy to send photos of my burns.

Also, I don't appreciate being stalked and threatened on Mauldroppers via message. My daughter and wife got on to get some help on a new radio that they purchased for Christmas and that was the first thing that they saw.

Why would you feel the need to post personal information about me that has nothing to do with this? FYI, that information isn't even right and isn't even me. LOL.

My intentions were to get on here to send you the $40 tonight after getting ahold of you because I am an honest person and I did tell you I would pay for it but that is hard to do when in the hospital and even harder to want to do after reading all this.

So now, where would you like your funds sent to?

What was a good transaction relationship of me selling to you has now soured and I will never deal with you again. Have a Happy New Year.

No I did not. I still have it if you are interested. Please disregard what tecnicoloco wrote and see above for the story. I am an honest person and have sold many items including ft-102s without complaint. You can also check out my ebay where I have a 100% rating.
