This is just a picture I found. Looks like the guy is just holding the gasket to take the picture. Good catch, I didn't even notice. Haha.
Are my eyes wrong, or is that gasket on backwards?
Might want to Dye Penn that. I see worm holes and porosity. Looks good though. You can grind out and build up and have shop shave the head. They will Dye Penn again.
Syncrowave 350 (Tig). Square wave, 30 mil pulse, just enough out of balance to clean the wound.
Wish I had a square wave, love to heli-arc. Have 4lb. spool gun that doesn't like me much, got used once to build alum boat. Worked great with 75/25. With TIG I know what is there, but argon costs a lot. Lots of SS and Alum down here for attachments and rails on boats. SW would make that easier, although I hate ruining tungsten balling ends with Act/Oxy.
