Can anyone tell me the microphone wiring for this radio. The current microphone is also the speaker but the radio has an external speaker jack. I want to wire up a different mic to this radio. Thanks for any info!

I am gonna take a wild stab at this and assume that the 5th wire that is not used, is where they used for the positive of the speaker in the microphone. Wire up a mic and see what it does. I have the same radio but not sure where I put it for the time being. This is from the mic end connector solder side connections.

Neat old fully portable CB radio that isn't a walkie talkie! I have the 23 channel model of it. Had to replace the battery tray. They are often roached! You can find the trays on Ebay for a few bucks.
I couldn't find the right kind of rivets so used small flat head phillips screws to mount it to the leather case. The screw heads are on the inside of the case and if done right won't scratch up the top of the radio. Smaller nuts on the top don't get in the way of the batteries.
