I am going to take it to the beach when we go on vacation. It will be a perfect base station for the beach house. Also quick to grab in an emergency. Kind of expensive really, but it is made specifically for this radio and has the radios information, menu, etc. inside the cover of the can.

Expensive for 15 channel 50W GMRS radio; but, perfect for spendthrift. Radio description, Crutchfield.com, states "15 high and low power channels".
$175 for 6Ah battery difference, MXPW500 v MXPW115.
