Thanks for reply. Brother in laws just left, down visiting on vacation, just watched Atlanta get Beat by Saints and Drew make history, needless to say had a few cold ones and can not tell if it is my vision or the drawing

it's the drawing, got to figure put how to size it so it will stay clear and fit the forums size limit. amp went parasitic last night, blew the hv lead off the filter board.:headbang. like i said at the beginning of post , what a mess.

hi wavrider, i found the ferrite tuning slug split in half and a bad solder connection on board for windings.fixed all that with parts from my junk box. broke out grid dip meter and found amp modified for 11 meter. tuned it as such and i am going to let it go. 3 watts input, 80 watt dead key, 900 swing. Dosy TC-4001 meter was test meter. soretooth

Glad you found the problem, sounds lke it is working good.

roger wavrider, thanks for all your help. put my trusty measurements Corporation model 59 grid dip meter on it, it don't lie. got the gdo with original manual from WABC-TV Transmitter, room 8515, 350 fifth ave. new york 1,N.Y. dated 8/30/1954, from buddy years ago. great test instrument.
sorry to ramble again, but alot of folks don't know what they are. got to figure out how to post pics of amp, i want to post it on the forum for sale. for what i have in it, figure $400.00 plus shipping. or just keep it on the shelf for a spare. thanks againfor your help, 73's. soretooth
